Experimental Footage
I felt that when we filmed our experimental footage it gave us a chance to learn how to correct filming errors during the film and how to not make these mistakes for our Preliminary Footage. We also discovered the problems than can occurr during taking the shot such as the camera shaking/jerking and losing the actors face out of the view. We overcame this by using panning shots rather than tracking shots in oreder to keep a steady and well filmed bit of footage. I think it was successful as we shot some over the shoulder parts and included dialougue - however, I feel that there could have been more dialogue and the shots should be of a higher quality. It was also successful as we used a variety of shots using angle and distance. We had no problem setting up and shooting the shot effectively. Pre-filimg, we rehearsed the parts in order to get a flowing film. Lastly by filming the footage from different angles it gave us more variety and options for when we come to editing.
